HIMSS25 Empowers Health Leaders to Inspire Change and Lead Strategically

In the HIMSS25 closing keynote conversation, prepare to be inspired by Simone Biles’s global impact on how faith, family, passion and perseverance has provided the tenacity to overcome everyday challenges. Known for her leadership on and off the floor, Biles is an advocate for mental health awareness, knowing all too well how everyday stressors can exert physical as well as emotional injury. 

At the HIMSS25 opening keynote, Dr. Seung-woo Park, President of Samsung Medical Center, will explore the critical role of digital health transformation in enhancing patient care, with an emphasis on the integration of EMRs and the development of next-generation systems. Hal Wolf, President and CEO of HIMSS, will continue the conversation in a fireside chat with both Dr. Park and Dr. Meong Hi Son, Chief Medical Information Officer of Samsung Medical Center, as they share insights and aspirations for the future of healthcare.  

Retired four-star Army General Paul M. Nakasone, the longest-serving leader of the U.S. Cyber Command and the National Security Agency/Central Security Service, will share battle-tested lessons during the Wednesday keynote session on transformational leadership while also examining the challenges and opportunities organizations face in the ever-evolving tech and security landscape.
